Campaign Promise

Dear Moulton Niguel Ratepayers,

My promise is simple:

As a water industry professional and long time Aliso Viejo resident and ratepayer, I am running for the Moulton Niguel Water District Board to help deliver reliable, high-quality water at the lowest practical cost.

I serve as Water Business Manager at Mesa Water District, focusing on accountability and efficiency for ratepayers. I oversee independent audits of finance, customer service, information technology, safety, and performance—helping keep the agency among Orange County’s most efficient.

I have previously served on MNWD’s Citizens Advisory Committee, as a Board Member for the Aliso Viejo Community Association and Aliso Viejo Little League, and was appointed Planning Commissioner for the City of Aliso Viejo. I currently serve as a volunteer umpire for Aliso Viejo Little League, supporting fairness and positive experiences for local youth.

Guided by the call to serve others, I will work to steward MNWD’s resources faithfully for every ratepayer.

If elected, I will prioritize:

  1. Transparency, efficiency, and accountability

  2. Water-supply reliability through a strong portfolio of supply options

  3. Strong fiscal oversight to protect ratepayers and keep service affordable

I bring hands-on water industry experience, community involvement, and a commitment to serve you — the ratepayer.

I respectfully ask for your vote on November 3rd.

Sincerely,

Kurt Lind

Candidate, Moulton Niguel Water District
